IMPF 2009

In the summer of 2009 MIA organized the first International Music Photography Festival in the city of Schiedam, The Netherlands. 5 galleries, the Municipal Museum and one church were the exhibition locations that were connected by a string of windows of shops an houses filled with the best rock, blues, jazz and classical music photographs. In the galleries special exhibitions of Elliott Landy, Gerald Cyrus, Panny Mayfield and Bill Wyman were presented. Concerts of the Jazz Invaders, the Rosenberg Trio, John Watts (Fisher Z) and Arjen Leistra (church organ) attracted even more visitors and raised this festival to an international phenomenon.
